About the Founder
My name is SANDRA ANAIS and my life’s passion has always been rooted in dance and the arts. From a young age, I immersed myself in the world of dance, spending over 35 years exploring and performing across various techniques and styles. This journey eventually led me to the art of dance improvisation—a form that resonates deeply with me as it embodies the essence of “here and now,” offering a powerful channel for instant self-expression.
My work is a continuous exploration of the moving practices of different cultures, the embodiment of ideas and emotions, and the intersection of site-specific performative practices with urban rituals. My teaching methods are a synthesis of mindful movement approaches, ranging from contemporary dance to contact and teather improvisation methods.
My approach to dance and its application in everyday life is designed to guide you in expressing the more introverted aspects of yourself. Through translating emotions into movement, you will learn to cherish your vulnerability, trust your body’s intelligence, and discover the freedom to express your authentic self.
My passion lies in facilitating spaces for deep self-expression and healing through movement and archetypal dance, reminding you how to feel free and comfortable in your body. With a playful and spontaneous approach, I blend my areas of expertise to create a holistic and integrated experience, even for the most dance-shy individuals.
By guiding you through archetype embodiment, I help clarify your inner dialogue and uncover the symbolic meanings behind your life experiences, allowing you to align with your purpose and become more self-reliant. Together, we will unlock the rich creative potential that lies dormant within you, weaving it into a tapestry that empowers you to step confidently into the future.
